If you are 60 or older, and are registered with the Office for Aging (OFA), you may ride one round trip for shopping and two round trips for medical service per week free on the Ulster County Area Transit System or the Office for Aging medical van.
Additional trips will require a cash payment. The medical and shopping transportation program is sponsored by the Office for Aging and operated under contract by Ulster County Area Transit. Seniors must register for participation. Seniors may give a voluntary contribution in lieu of the normal fare only on the medical van. Drivers will provide envelopes for contributions. Passengers are required to get to the curb, buses do not pull into driveways. The bus driver is only required to bring packages to the curb, they will not bring them inside.
The Office for Aging medical van is available to all seniors who live and require medical transportation within Ulster County. The van is wheelchair accessible. Service is based on availability and advance reservations are required. Seniors must register for participation. Please call (845) 334-8120 for further information.

Seniors who are ADA qualified may complete and submit the ADA Para Transit application.
